Dr. Lisa Moses - Director/Founder
Dr. Moses received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center and a postdoctoral fellowship at The Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services. She has worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, college counseling centers, and outpatient clinics. She has worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Supervisor at CUNY, Brooklyn College and The College of New Rochelle. Dr. Moses has also been a community supervisor for Long Island University doctoral students.
Before studying psychology, Dr. Moses received a B.A. in Literature from Yale University and a postbaccalaureate certificate in Psychology from Columbia University. She was born and raised in Orange County, California.
Dr. Moses's research interests include: psychotherapy integration, client expectations/preferences in therapy, and factors related to therapy effectiveness. She emphasizes a pragmatic approach to therapy in which she focuses on "doing what works" by drawing from multiple techniques. Dr. Moses is currently pursuing certification in sex therapy and is conducting research for a book on gender equality and parenting.

Gaby Jacobson, LMHC - Staff Mental Health Counselor
Gaby Jacobson emphasizes creating a safe space in therapy and works with adults with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD/trauma, and identity issues, including sexual orientation and gender identity. She is particularly skilled in helping people identify the impact of both past and current relationships, with a strong foundation in attachment and family systems.
Ms. Jacobson received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Long Island University. She completed two internships, one at Jewish Family Services in Stamford, CT and one in the Wellness Center at SUNY Purchase College. Ms. Jacobson also worked at New York Presbyterian Psychiatric Hospital in White Plains, NY. She completed her post-degree hours at the Karen Horney Clinic in Manhattan, NY. Ms. Jacobson holds a certification in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy (WCSPP). Before pursuing her Master’s degree, Ms. Jacobson received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at SUNY Purchase.
She believes that the most important part of therapy is a good relationship with your therapist, and works hard to make therapy feel comfortable and productive.

Michelle Williams, LCSW - Staff Therapist
Michelle Williams takes a systemic approach to treating couples, families & teens. This means that she focuses on improving patterns within a family system so that everyone is communicating better, having less conflict, and improving closeness in relationships. She takes a strengths-based approach to help people focus on what they do best.
Ms. Williams earned her Master's Degree at the NYU Silver School of Social Work and received additional training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She was a longtime supervisor and therapist at the Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services, where she emphasized work in trauma-focused CBT, substance use, cultural & racial sensitivity and evidence-based therapy. She additionally worked with schools providing mental health counseling and education to children. Ms. Williams incorporates Buddhist, Sufi & Fourth Way teachings into her work and maintains an ongoing meditation practice. She is committed to creating a warm, acceptance-based approach in her sessions to help encourage openness to change.

Michele Talamo, LCSW - Staff Therapist
Michele Talamo is passionate about helping individuals be the best selves they can be. She uses a combination of supportive and evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapies.
Ms. Talamo earned her Master's Degree at Fordham University and also has a JD from Pace University. She has worked in hospital settings as a Social Work Supervisor and has worked extensively with mental illness in residential homes.
Ms. Talamo focuses on helping those with anxiety, depression, severe mental illness and chronic illness. She enjoys working with children, teenagers, young adults and couples. She emphasizes having a positive and close relationship with your therapist so that you feel supported and headed in the right direction.

Veronica Paige focuses her work on helping people achieve their goals in therapy so they can move forward with leading successful, satisfying and authentic lives. She incorporates multiple therapeutic approaches and skills/techniques while also providing warmth and support.
Veronica has a degree in psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University, a Master's Degree with honors in Social Work from NYU's Silver School, and advanced training from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, the Training Institute for Mental Health in couples and relationship therapy, and the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in Sex Therapy. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-positive in her work with couples and individuals.
